Halfpennies (2), both 1841, young head left, date below, rev. Britannia seated right, the second with the E of DEI improperly struck, probably due to a clogged die, (S.3949). The first about uncirculated with some residual lustre, the other good extremely fine and certified and graded by CGS as 78 and 75 respectively

Halfpennies (2), 1900 and 1901, old veiled bust left, rev. Britannia seated right, date below, (S.3962). The first uncirculated with nearly full subdued lustre, the second choice mint state with full brilliant lustre, and certified and graded by CGS as 82 and 85 respectively

Specimen set, 1887, five pounds down to threepence (11 coins) in a black period case of issue by T. Smith & Sons, Goldsmiths to the Queen, Edinburgh, (S.3864, S.3865, S.3866, S.3869, S.3921, S.3923, S.3924, S.3925, S.3926, S.3928, S.3931). A nice set with only minor marks and imperfections, generally uncirculated, the case in beautiful condition

Twopence, 1980, mis-strike with part brokage, reverse of the two pence struck on obverse (S.C1). Nearly very fine

Twenty Pence, 2001, crowned bust right, rev. crowned rose, struck on a copper plated steel one penny blank in error, together with a letter from the Royal Mint providing confirmation of this. About as struck with some subdued lustre, extremely rare

Two partially melted clumps of clippings from hammered gold coins with a purity of 21.08ct. and a weight of 10.45g. Historically interesting and rare

St. Patrick's coinage, large size, King David playing harp, crown above, star in legend, rev. St Patrick holding cross and crozier preaching, edge milled, brass plug (as issued), (S.6568). Die flaw to crown on obverse, once cleaned and about fine but very rare

Proof Halfpenny, 1805, in bronzed copper, draped bust right, rev. crowned harp, date below, (S.6621). A splendid proof, choice mint state and certified and graded by NGC as PF 66 BN, the finest graded

One thirteenth of a Shilling, 1851, young bust left, date below, rev. arms of Jersey, (S.7001). Toned, a few light marks, uncirculated

Margaretha II von Constantinople (1244-1280), 2/3 Gros, Valenciennes mint, knight on horseback right, holding reigns and sword, rev. small cross pattée with crescents in quarters, with legend inner circle, 2.71g, (Lucas 39). Toned with dark patina, about very fine
