Penny, quatrefoil type, Cambridge, moneyer Elfwig, crowned bust left, legend commences at 8 o'clock, +CNVT REX ANGLORVM, with cross symbols after M, rev. long voided cross over quatrefoil, +ELFPIM ON GRANT, 0.99g, (N.781, S.1157) . An unusual example, bright silver, extremely fine.
