Halfcrown, 1701, first laureate and draped bust right, rev. modified large cruciform shields, angles plain, edge D. TERTIO, (S.3494, ESC.1046). Attractive even grey cabinet tone, fields free from tin flecks which often plague this issue, minor cabinet friction on the reverse, otherwise much as struck
