Penny, pointed helmet type, Northampton, moneyer Leofwine, helmeted bust left holding sceptre, +CNVT RECX AN, rev. short voided cross, pellets in broken annulets in quarters, +LEOFPINE ON HAM, 1.17g, (S.1158, N.787). A rare type for the mint, slightly crimped with a few peck marks, otherwise about very fine
