Penny, two line type, moneyer Aethelwulf, small cross, +EADVVEARD REX, rev. moneyer's name in two lines, three crosses between, trefoil of pellets above and below, AÐEL+VLF MO, 1.61g, (N.649, S.1087). Toned and extremely fine, a most attractive example .
