Crown, 1746, old laureate and draped bust left, LIMA below, rev. crowned cruciform shields, angles plain, edge DECIMO NONO, (ESC.1668, S.3689). Struck from treasure seized by Admiral Anson, during his circumnavigation of the globe, and by other privateers. Attractive iridescent toning especially to the reverse, about extremely fine.
