Testoon, third coinage, Bristol mint, local dies, crowned facing bust, rev. crowned Tudor rose dividing HR, mm -/WS monogram, 6.61g, (N.1843, S.2368). Weakly struck on cloak and parts of the legend, otherwise round and of decent fabric, fine and rare.

Half Sovereign, Southwark mint, crowned bust right, rev. crowned garnished shield dividing ER, mm. Y, 5.52g, (N.1911, S.2438). Evidence of slight crease, some flaws before face, otherwise nearly very fine.

Shilling, fine silver issue, Tower mint, crowned facing bust dividing Tudor rose and mark of value, rev. shield on long cross fourchée, mm. tun, 5.97g, (N.1937, S.2482). Evidence of old creases, toned very fine.

Shilling, fine silver issue, Tower mint, crowned facing bust dividing Tudor rose and mark of value, rev. shield on long cross fourchée, mm. tun, 5.98g, (N.1937, S.2482). Good fine/nearly very fine, the reverse with an attractive blue and gold tone to the legends.

Shilling, undated, facing busts, crown above, full titles, rev. crowned shield, crown dividing mark of value, no mm., 5.90g, (N.1967, S.2498). Some corrosion or weakness on the reverse, toned, nearly very fine.

Shilling, 1554, facing busts, crown above dividing date, full titles, rev. crowned shield, crown dividing mark of value, no mm., 5.86g, (N.1967, S.2500). Obverse scratched and scuffed, otherwise with reasonable portraits and a strong reverse, good fine/very fine.

Fine Sovereign of 30 shillings, Queen seated on ornamental throne holding orb and sceptre, portcullis below, rev. shield on Tudor rose, mm. tun, 14.92g, (N.2003, S.2529). Portrait a little soft but an honest and problem free example of the type, good fine, better in places.

Halfcrown, seventh issue, elaborately decorated crowned bust left holding orb and sceptre, rev. shield on long cross fourchée, mm. 1, 14.30g, (N.2013, S.2583). Toned and fine, the reverse a little better.

Sixpence, 1568/7, milled coinage (1561-71), small crowned bust left, rose behind, rev. quartered royal arms over long cross fourchée, small clear overdate above, mm. lis, 3.17g, (N.2030, S.2599). Tooled in fields, otherwise good very fine.

Gold halfcrown, 1607, second coinage (1604-19), first crowned bust right, rev. crowned shield, mm. grapes, 1.15g, (N.2093, S.2629). Some light scratches and probably once cleaned, otherwise good fine reverse better.

Unite, Tower mint, group A, first bust left in coronation robes, high double arched crown, mark of value behind, R of CAROLVS struck over rotated R, rev. square topped shield with plain garnishing, mm. lis (at the end of legend on rev.), 8.95g, (N.2146, S.2685, Brooker -). Full, round and well struck with an orange gold tone. A most attractive specimen, good very fine or better, the dies not represented in Brooker, die sinkers error unpublished.

Unite, Tower mint, group A, first bust left in coronation robes, wider single arched crown, mark of value behind, rev. square topped shield with plain garnishing, mm. lis, 8.97g, (N.2147, S.2686, Brooker -). Attractive portrait, very fine or better, the dies not represented in Brooker.

Unite, Tower mint, group C, crowned bust left wearing ruff, mark of value behind, rev. oval shield dividing CR, mm. rose, 9.02g, (N.2150, S.2690, Brooker -). Scratch to reverse and a little weak on face, nearly very fine.

Halfcrown, Tower mint, group I, type 1a2, horseman left with no rose on housings or groundline below, rev. square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, mm. lis, 14.75g, (N.2201, S.2764). Struck on a full flan, good fine.

Halfcrown, Tower mint, group III, type 3a1, horseman left with scarf flying from king's waist, rev. oval garnished shield, mm. tun, 14.98g, (N.2209, S.2773). Uneven flan but of full weight, toned good fine.

Halfcrown, Tower mint, group III, type 3a1, horseman left with scarf flying from king's waist, rev. oval garnished shield, mm. crown, 14.96g, (N.2209, S.2773). Round flan, nicely toned and nearly very fine, with collectors ticket.

Halfcrown, Tower mint, group III, type 3a2, horseman left with cloak flying from king's shoulder, rough groundline below, rev. oval garnished shield, mm. triangle, 14.98g, (N.2212, S.2776). Irregular but full weight flan, weakly struck centres, good fine, with collectors ticket.

Halfcrown, Tower mint under Parliament (1642-49), group III, type 3a3, horseman left with cloak flying from king's shoulder, rev. oval garnished shield, mm. eye, 14.65g, (N.2213, S.2778). Struck on a full round flan, toned fine/good fine.

Halfcrown, Tower mint under Parliament (1642-49), group IV, fourth horseman, type 4, horseman left on foreshortened horse, rev. oval garnished shield, mm. triangle in circle, 14.95g, (N.2214, S.2779). Struck on an irregular flan, about very fine.

Shilling, Tower mint, group A, first bust left in coronation robes, high double arched crown, rev. shield on long cross fourchée, mm. lis, 5.69g, (N.2216, S.2781). Scratch in field before face, only good fine but toned and well struck.

Shilling, Tower mint under Parliament, group G, seventh narrow crowned bust left, mark of value behind, rev. square-topped shield over cross moline, mm. sceptre, 5.86g, (S.2802, N.2233). A couple of annealing marks but probably much as struck with a sharp portrait and superb fields, struck on a smaller flan typical of the type, about extremely fine.

Sixpence, Tower mint, 1625, group A, first bust left in coronation robes, high double arched crown, rev. shield on long cross fourchée, date above, mm.lis, 2.70g, (N.2235, S.2805). Some scratches on obverse, otherwise nearly very fine, scarce.

Threepence, York mint, crowned bust left, mark of value behind, rev. square-topped shield on long cross fourchée, EBOR above, mm. lion, 1.47g, (N.2323, S.2877). Toned very fine.
